Things You Need to Know
Returns Policy for Incorrect Size, Change of Mind etc - if Purchased Direct from Rimpactmtb.com
Our policy lasts 30 days from the delivery date. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange, but please get in touch regardless to discuss.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back until you have contacted our customer service team for a reference number. Our email is customerservice@rimpactmtb.com.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Obvious signs of use
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds When Purchased Via RimpactMTB.com (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-10 working days.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customerservice@rimpactmtb.com.
Exchanges:
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customerservice@rimpactmtb.com.
Shipping:
To return your product, please contact customerservice@rimpactmtb.com for a returns reference and postage address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Warranty:
Insert Products -
If you believe the item has failed prematurely or is defective upon receipt and would like to peruse a warranty claim, please contact customerservice@rimpactmtb.com and let us know. For instances where the product was purchased through an approved retailer – please contact the retailer as a first port of call. The retailer will then contact Rimpact directly on customerservice@rimpactmtb.com and await instructions.
Rimpact inserts carry a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase which covers Manufacturer defects or premature failure. It does not cover misuse or damage as a result of incorrect installation. It does not cover generally expected wear and tear from use. Inserts are of a sacrificial nature and are designed to wear out through use in order to best protect your tyres and rims. We'd love to hear about your experience however and urge you to contact us regardless of the above if your inserts have failed for any reason, so we can hopefully learn from it and also help you at in the best possible way. The Stand -
The Stand is built to last. As such it carries a special 5 year warranty from the date of purchase for manufacturing defects. This does not include wear and tear or corrosion. The Stand is designed to have replacable wear components and to be easily polished back to a nearly new condition in the even of corrosion. If you need to replace a bushing, circlip or other part, get in touch, it may be covered under warranty or replacable at a very low cost at our discretion.
TMD -
Our TMD is also built to last and we will cover manufacturing defects for up to five years from the date of purchase. Springs are not covered in this policy due to their nature as a wearable component. These will be available as a replacement option on our website.
Chain Damper Products -
Just like our TMD, our Chain Dampers are also built to last a long time. We will cover manufacturer defective units for 2 years from the purchase date with either a replacement part, full unit, repair or upgrade if the product is no longer available. This covers the main body and fixings of the damper only, (referred to as the Mount Plate, Cover Plate and Bolts. The Chain Rings, Springs, Elastomers, Seals and Bushes are not part of this cover due to their wearable designation, however, premature failure may be covered on a case by case basis. Got an issue, get in touch and we will be happy take a look, plus we have lots of spares. Hopefully we will learn something to help improve our products moving forward.
This warranty is only valid if the Chain Damper has been serviced regularly in accordance with the steps laid out in our guide. If the product has been altered of modified in anyway, used in an incorrect manner or had parts replaced with non genuine Rimpact made components, the warranty is voided.
Refunds When Purchased from an Approved Rimpact Stockist:
When Purchased from an Approved Rimpact Stockist, please refer to the terms and conditions displayed by the retailer. All refunds will be processed at the discretion of the retailer, Rimpact Components LTD take no responsibility for the acceptance or denial of refund by the retailer. Warranty replacements will be handled by your retailer where by they will contact us directly on your behalf and issue a replacemnt based on our feedback.
