Unit weight - 330 grams
Mass weight - 245 grams
Compatibility
Optimised for bikes with a steerer length of 180mm+. If your steerer shorter than this, you will need spacers above the stem to be compatible. Not sure how to measure this? Check our guide here.
Aluminium and Steel, Tapered and 1 1/8” , oval or cylindrical steerers are all compatible. For use on single and dual crown forks.
Servicing
TMD is designed so the springs never use more than 80% of their available travel. By avoiding full compression, spring life is significantly extended and replacement is rarely required. If spares are ever needed you can reach out to us here.

"That's a product I won't be able to take off my bike for racing... I was 1 second per minute quicker with the TMD”- Jesse Melamed.
Mass That Matters
The 250g mass is shaped to occupy the available space inside the fork steerer, increasing its ability to absorb and manage unwanted vibrations
End Stroke Control
V2 introduces end-stroke elastomers to add even more composure and control on the biggest hits.
No Tuning Required
Carefully chosen springs with extended travel allow the mass to respond to inputs quicker than ever and offer increased composure through the biggest hits.
Good service from Matt
It saved my front wheel from washing out while I was racing downhill at Highland, NH. Yrs. ago, the wheel slid side to side and I was thrown off the bike. It happened again while racing July 2026 and also drifted a few times because of the dry, slippery conditions.
Love it. Really helps with arm fatigue.
We bought 3 for our DH team. One 14year old loves it, one 15 year old says his ride is less bumpy (less fatigue). Personally I’m 52 and feel less fatigue but most noticeable is that my front tire seems to stick to the ground and has given me a much more confident feeling diving in to corners I was previously hesitant to let go of the brakes on. I didn’t expect that. With that said, it might just be me and my age but I needed to adjust my jumping a bit. Bike rides a little nose heavier now. We all ride DH bikes. One other thing is I like how easy it is to move to another bike, I can swap it to my Levo SL in about 2 minutes.

very good
It works perfectly on my enduro. On my DH It works, but for now I,dont feel it helped my suffer less, maybe I,wrongly setuped it
Purchased 2 sets of TMD V2 and installed on my Banshee and Mondraker DH bikes. They work invisibly and gives no dramatic change of bike characteristics, but make front-end of the bike stable and my fatigue level after full-day riding in the bike park is apparently lighter than before.
I think TMD V2 is great product for DH application.
Impressed with great product and reasonable shipping cost.
Fantastic communication with the crew at Rimpact. The TMD is a great tool to calm the front end of bike down much. Highly recommend

FAQ
How do I know if this will fit my bike?
TMD V2 will fit any bike with a 1 1/8th metallic steerer (almost every fork). Optimised for steerer tube lengths of greater than 180mm, it can still fit those shorter with the use of conventional headset spacers. Check out our installation guide here.
Is TMD suitable for Ebikes?
Yes! TMD is not only suitable but a great upgrade for your Ebike. Longer ride = greater exposure to vibration induced fatigue.
Do I need to setup my fork differently when using TMD?
No, just plug and play. We have found the increased composure of the TMD means we ride harder so a slight increase in spring rate and compression helps to make the most of the benefits.
Is this compatible with my gravel bike?
No, but we have a gravel specific version here.
Will it make my bike harder to jump?
TMD is largely unnoticeable with respect to jumping and manuals.
Does it rattle?
No, its easy to securely install your TMD.
What tools do I need to install this?
Installation is simple, needing only a 4mm allen key and a 10mm spanner.
