Like our Pro insert, the EDH utilises a dual density design with a dense protection shell that helps dissipate extreme forces in combination with our classic Original foam that cuts vibration. Crafted from high-quality closed cell foam, the Rimpact EDH is engineered for maximum durability and resilience. Its unique design provides unbeatable impact absorption, reducing the risk of tire damage and giving you the confidence to tackle any line with confidence.
But the EDH isn't just about protection – it also delivers unrivalled support, vibration damping and run flat performance. Its optimized shape enhances traction and stability, giving you the grip and control you need with heavier Ebike chassis and higher speed DH runs.
Rimpact Inserts must be used in conjunction with an insert compatible valve.
Optimised for 2.6” tires and 35mm internal rims. Compatible with narrower set ups but fitting difficulty increases dramatically for smaller sizes. Unless adept as insert installation, the Pro V2 will be a more appropriate option for 2.4” and ~30mm rims.
Use about 25% more sealant than recommended on the bottle to ensure the extra surface area of the insert is coated with plenty of fluid to spare. Our inserts are closed cell and cannot absorb liquid however some sealant will cling to the outside of the insert requiring a slightly higher dosage. It can be injected through Rimpact Valves but is best poured directly into the tire.
Whilst not strictly required, we recommend adding an air hole to the insert using a 10mm implement to aid air and sealant flow.

Rimpact inserts have saved me from multiple rim replacements, suffering just broken spokes occasionally. I like how they fit into the wheel and tire space, the absorption of all bumps is easier on my older body, and my tires can take a beating and last until the tread wears down. I am hard on my bike with rugged line choices, drops to flat, stairs, large boulders, and tree trunk gardens. That said, the Rimpact inserts have saved me from ever having a tire fail from impact, without them I know I would have blown out tires at times, and what a waste of money and lost riding time when that happens. Well worth the money IMO.

I had a fantastic experience ordering the Rimpact EDH insert. The information on the website was incredibly clear, and shipping was fast.
As for the performance and setup, installing it on my Santa Cruz Vala was an absolute breeze. I’ve tried several different inserts in the past, and this one was by far the easiest to install—which is crazy for an insert that feels this solid and looks like it will genuinely protect my rims.

The decent reviews made me purchase this product. I bought it to protect my new real wheel after smashing my standard wheel. I own an E-bike,so heavier than analogue bikes. I believe the weight was an issue for some people but I like to quote Boris from Snatch, 'heavy is good, heavy is reliable'.
My first ride was Saturday, I was concerned the added weight over alternative manufacturers. I honestly didn't feel any of it. I felt stability, confidence on the rock sections and experienced no cornering problems.
Great choice and I'll probably not look to try anything else as it works very well.
May opt to have them installed in future by a local bike shop. Lol.
My main issue was the installation, nothing less than a nightmare! After successfully installing it I can honestly confirm the pain was worth the pleasure.

Slightly confusing payment options, credit card looked to be selected but the msg said this was not available.
They work, but won’t buy again. Installation is a nightmare. It’s just not worth the heartache trying to fit them.
Really difficult to install but worth the effort.

I visited these guys to help me with install. You could not wish to meet nicer more helpful people. The product is fantastic of course….as is the price point. The 5* reviews in the magazines and on line say it all….and I agree.
Perfomance wise I give these a 5 star rating. They give the trail a "damp" feeling. Not wet damp. But like damping out trail chatter kind of damp. I can run lower pressure in my tires than I usually ride giving me more traction and stability. I gave the rating a 4 star just because installing them was a bit more of a chore than I bargained for. However, part of that is because my wheels barely have an internal width of 30mm. I am sure a bit wider wheel would help a lot. Also, after doing the first wheel, the second one went a lot quicker. If I were to do this again I could do it much easier.
Great rim protection bike feels more stable and allows you to run at very low psi if needed. Definitely recommend the edh insert.
Easy to order, promptly delivered. Instructions on the video easy to follow. Not the easiest thing to install, but I’m guessing like anything, the more you do the easier it becomes
OK to fit once I got the correct size! :-) One surprise is it definitely improves my Zeb fork feel, it was harsh on the small stuff like lose gravel.(great on larger stuff) This chatter is now nicely dampened and I feel confident to run a few psi lower as well. Hopefully no more damage rims and smoother feeling suspension, what’s not to love
